Our association and surrounding associations offer comprehensive training programs designed to improve your coaching skills, regardless of your previous experience. Basketball QLD also offer online coaching courses to ensure basketball coaching best practices.

• Coaching Clinics: HBBA will update you on available coaching clinics with expert coaches, covering a range of topics from player development to advanced team strategies.
• Basketball QLD Accreditation: Take part in official online and in-person coaching certification programs that give you a recognized qualification, helping you advance in your coaching career.
• Mentorship Opportunities: Gain access to one-on-one mentorship from experienced HBBA coaches who will guide you and offer advice to help you succeed in your coaching journey.

Financial Incentives for Coaches

At Hervey Bay Basketball, we value the commitment and dedication of our coaches. To ensure that coaching is accessible and rewarding, we offer the following financial incentives that can be applied to your playing membership or child’s playing membership fees::

• Community Accredited Coach: Coach one (1) junior team for the season – $150 Game Fee discount
• Community Accredited Coach: Coach two (2) or more junior teams for the season – $300 Game Fee discount
• Club Coach/Association Accreditation: Coach one (1) or more junior Club or Rep teams for the season – $300 Game Fee discount
